Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital represent the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation at the 2014 Walk to End Alzheimer’s event

Encino Hospital Medical Center and Sherman Oaks Hospital, two of Prime Healthcare's not-for-profit hospitals in the San Fernando Valley, represented the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation at this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's event this past Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, CA.

Walk to End Alzheimer's is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research. The walkers included those living with the disease, their friends, families, caregivers, and concerned business and community leaders.

As a sponsor, the Dr. Prem Reddy Family Foundation supports the Alzheimer's Association, California Southland Chapter who helps approximately a quarter million people every year to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research.

Sherman Oaks Hospital and Encino Hospital Medical Center provide geriatric services and is highly committed to the specialized healthcare needs of the senior community. Their treatment protocols are designed to help seniors, caregivers and medical professionals deal with complex medical problems common to the geriatric population. Following hospitalization, the Epic Medical Group coordinates a "continuum of care" within the community and attends to many patients who suffer from dementia and Alzheimer's.
